Principal Estimator King’s Cross, London (Hybrid) Up to £75,000 + Excellent Benefits Are you a commercially driven estimator with a track record of winning work in Technical FM or Building Services? This is a key strategic role where you’ll lead complex bids, influence commercial outcomes, and play a vital part in driving business growth. As Principal Estimator, you’ll own the full bid lifecycle — from initial enquiry through to contract award, mobilisation, and handover — ensuring high-quality, competitive, and compliant submissions every time. Key Responsibilities * Lead end-to-end tender and quotation processes * Develop detailed cost models (labour and asset-based) * Produce high-quality written submissions and support contract negotiations * Manage contract renewals and re-bids * Conduct site surveys to assess assets, systems, and maintenance requirements * Build asset registers and maintenance plans from scratch * Own and deliver mobilisation plans post-award * Ensure seamless transition into operational delivery * Source, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor proposals * Identify value opportunities and drive commercial efficiencies * Upload and manage PPM data within CAFM systems * Lead handover to operations teams * Support asset validation and ongoing cost management * Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful contract delivery About You You’re a confident, detail-oriented professional with strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
