Inventory Supervisor

Inventory Supervisor Sector: Engineering / Manufacturing Location: Norfolk Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, days Salary: Dependent on experience ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for an Inventory Supervisor to join a manufacturing business in Norfolk. This role sits within the procurement team and involves supervising a small team, while making sure stock records, ERP data, cycle counts and material availability are properly controlled. It would suit someone from an inventory, stock control, stores, materials or supply chain background who has experience leading people in a manufacturing, engineering or similar environment. What you’ll be doing Overseeing stock checks, cycle counts and reconciliations Maintaining accurate ERP and inventory system records Investigating discrepancies and improving stock accuracy Monitoring stock levels, lead times and replenishment needs Working closely with procurement, production and supply chain teams Producing inventory reports and tracking key stock measures Helping reduce stockouts, excess stock, obsolete stock and waste Making sure stock handling and storage follows company procedures What we’re looking for Experience in inventory, stock control, stores, materials or supply chain Previous supervisory or team-leading experience Background in manufacturing, engineering or automotive would be beneficial Confident using ERP, MRP or inventory management systems Strong attention to detail and good data accuracy Able to lead, support and hold people to standards Practical, organised and confident dealing with day-to-day stock issues Good communication skills across internal teams The environment This is not just a warehouse supervision role. The focus is inventory accuracy, system control, team supervision and making sure production has the materials it needs. The role would suit someone who can lead people while staying close to the detail of stock, data and day-to-day inventory processes.
