Transport Planner

Transport Planner Location: Bersted, West Sussex Salary: Up to £36,000 (DOE) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm + 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:00am - 1:00pm) We're working with a busy and well-established waste management company looking to add an experienced Transport Planner to their fast-paced operation. This is a hands-on role in a demanding environment, where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities: Plan and route daily vehicle movements efficiently Manage driver schedules and workloads Ensure compliance with driver hours and transport regulations React quickly to changes, delays, and operational issues Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams Maintain accurate planning and operational recordsRequirements: Previous transport planning and routing experience (essential) Good understanding of driver hours and transport compliance Background in waste or general haulage considered Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong organisation and communication skillsIf you're an experienced planner looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
