We are currently recruiting a passionate Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at our luxury hotel. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone with experience in a four or five-star hotel or fine dining environment, looking to grow and develop their pastry skills in a supportive, high-standard kitchen. You will report directly to the Pastry Chef and Executive Head Chef.

Working Pattern : 8 Hours a Day / 5 Days a Week.

This property has 43 individually designed bedrooms, 13 luxury suites and 6 long-stay apartments, a classic lounge area for Afternoon Tea, a modern Stables Bar and a 2 Rosettes restaurant, named Cheneston's.
Key Responsibilities of a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie:
Assist in the daily preparation and service of pastry and desserts.
Support the Pastry Chef in running the section efficiently.
Contribute to the creation of desserts for la carte, banqueting and afternoon tea.
Maintain high standards of consistency, quality and presentation.
Always ensure cleanliness and organisation of your section.
Follow stock rotation procedures and assist with stock checks.

What are we looking for in our Pastry Demi Chef de Partie?
Previous experience in a pastry role within a fine dining or luxury hotel environment.
A foundation in classical and contemporary pastry techniques.
A creative eye for detail and a desire to learn and grow.
Strong work ethic, time management, and kitchen organisation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure as part of a team.
A positive and proactive attitude toward development and guest satisfaction.
Commitment to high hygiene standards and safe food handling.
