Job Title: PE Supply Teacher (Girls PE) Location: Waltham Forest Job Type: Daily Supply / Flexible Cover Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience and qualifications) Job Description: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Physical Education (PE) Supply Teacher to provide daily cover at a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Waltham Forest. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for both qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced non-qualified instructors with a strong background in sports and education to work on long-term supply, starting immediately. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 * Maintain a positive learning environment and strong classroom management * Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher * Promote student participation, teamwork, and physical wellbeing * Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding and health & safety procedures Requirements: * QTS is desirable but not essential if other relevant experience is held * Experience teaching or coaching PE in a secondary school setting * Strong behaviour management skills * Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer: * Flexible working to suit your availability * Competitive daily rates * Opportunity to gain experience in a supportive secondary school * Potential for longer-term placements How to Apply: If you are passionate about physical education and enjoy working in a dynamic school environment, we would love to hear from you.
