Long-term Contract
SEN Teacher in North London
Up to £260 daily
Are you a passionate SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference?
Were seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to support pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD) , including non-verbal learners , in a nurturing and well-supported school environment.
This is a highly rewarding role where youll play a key part in helping pupils develop communication, independence, and life skills at their own pace.
You will be teaching a small class of pupils with complex needs, delivering highly personalised lessons tailored to individual abilities.
The school provides a structured, supportive setting where every achievement-big or small-is celebrated.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SLD
Creating a calm, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families
Focusing on communication, sensory learning, and life skills development
Monitoring progress and adapting strategies to meet individual needs
Were looking for someone who:
Has experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly SLD or complex needs
Is patient, creative, and highly adaptable
Has knowledge of autism and non-verbal communication strategies (preferred)
Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
Holds QTS or relevant teaching qualification (preferred but not always essential)
