About the Role
We are seeking a creative, passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join a supportive secondary school team from September 2026. This role is suitable for an Overseas Trained Teacher (OTT) or a qualified teacher seeking part-time work, with flexibility available for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their creativity, technical skills and confidence in visual expression.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Inspire creativity and encourage experimentation with a range of artistic techniques and media
Assess, monitor and report on student progress effectively
Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and enrichment opportunities
Maintain a safe, engaging and well-resourced learning environment
Support students’ academic and personal development

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) or Overseas Trained Teacher (OTT)
Have strong subject knowledge in Art and Design
Be creative, enthusiastic and passionate about inspiring young people
Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
