School Caretaker - Stockport (Immediate Start) Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and reliable School Caretaker to join a welcoming school in the Stockport area. This is a part-time position with split shift hours, starting immediately. The Role: As a School Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school site. The position requires flexibility, as the hours will be split between morning and afternoon/evening shifts. Key Responsibilities: Opening and securing the school premises Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs Ensuring the school grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained Monitoring site security and health & safety compliance Liaising with contractors and school staff when requiredRequirements: Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor/Caretaker within a school setting is essential Strong understanding of health and safety procedures Ability to work independently and manage time effectively A proactive and hands-on approachThis is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and experienced caretaker looking for a flexible, part-time role within a supportive school environment.
