DUAL RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUAL (RI) - Children's Home Location: Cannock, Staffordshire Recruiter: Diamond Search Recruitment Sector: Residential Children’s Care Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + great benefits! Diamond Search Recruitment is proud to be representing a well‑established and values‑led children’s services provider in the appointment of an experienced Responsible Individual (RI) for dual children’s residential settings in Cannock, Staffordshire. This is a critical leadership role, offering the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and child‑centred care. 🔑 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Act as the Responsible Individual in line with Ofsted requirements * Provide strategic oversight and governance of the children’s home * Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards * Support, supervise, and hold the Registered Manager to account * Liaise effectively with Ofsted, placing authorities, and external stakeholders * Drive continuous improvement and maintain positive inspection outcomes ✅ ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS * Already registered with Ofsted as a Responsible Individual * Clean and satisfactory Ofsted history * Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a Responsible Individual or equivalent senior role * In‑depth knowledge of regulatory, safeguarding, and compliance frameworks * Strong leadership, governance, and quality‑assurance skills * Enhanced DBS (clear) and strong professional references ⭐ DESIRABLE * Experience supporting homes rated Good or Outstanding * Demonstrable commitment to trauma‑informed, child‑centred care 📩 APPLY NOW This role is being recruited urgently.
