I am working on a new and exciting role, this role is a great opportunity for a chef who is looking to move in to a development chef role in the future. This project chef will be a key player in the culinary development team to not only support the team but be a real key part of being the support through out the sites within this city contract catering company. This role needs a chef who has the ability to cook nice hospitality food including fine dining and some events as well as being confident in a staff dining restaurant. Ideally you will have strong craft skills along side a strong understanding personality to work and support teams on site.
You will be working with the teams to support when needed, to move food the the next level as well as working on exciting projects throughout the business. You will also be part of the mobilization team to help mobilize new contracts. If you fancy a change and really want to look at moving in to a multiple site development chef in the future.
Requirements strong chef, strong inter personal skills with a passion for training and development as well as love of cooking, ideally you will have some knowledge contract catering or a real desire to learn.
Senior sous or Head chef level
Contract catering / nice restaurant experience
Passion for cooking both hospitality and fine dining as well as a passion for street food.
Personality is key must be a strong communicator to be able to work with different chefs
Able to work and build relationships with clients
Happy to muck in and get the job done
Keen to learn from the senior development chefs
Knowledge of current food trends is key
wants to be a team player but confident to use Initiative
Able to work to plans and dead lines
