About the Role:

Position: Complex Needs Assistant

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Location: Worthing

This school provides exceptional support for children with ADHD, autism, challenging behaviour, and medical conditions. All pupils have a healthcare plan, with some requiring tube feeding or personal care assistance.

The ideal candidate will have: A resilient and energetic personality to embrace the challenges of this rewarding role. Experience in care or education, supporting individuals with additional needs.Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children thrive.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs.
• Assist with personal care, healthcare needs, and classroom activities.
• Work closely with teachers and healthcare professionals to support each child's learning and well-being.
• Manage challenging behaviour with confidence and understanding.
