The Role An opportunity has arisen for a DevOps Engineer to join a Platform Engineering team during an exciting phase of growth and product development. This role offers the chance to work within a forward-thinking engineering environment known for strong technical standards, collaborative working practices, and a focus on scalable technology solutions. The position is hybrid, with regular office attendance expected in the North East of England. Candidates should also be prepared to complete a technical assessment as part of the interview process. Key Responsibilities Working closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams, responsibilities will include: Supporting the design and delivery of secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure Implementing infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies Monitoring and managing systems to ensure performance, availability, and reliability Collaborating within Agile delivery environments, contributing to Scrum and Kanban practices Participating in continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and tooling Skills & Experience Required The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to platform engineering best practices.
