Care Assistant
Location: Kent
Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time
Salary: £100 to £180 per day via PAYE
Start Date: July 2026

The role:
Vision for Education is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to support children and young adults across a range of educational and care environments. This rewarding role involves working closely with individuals who may have additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.
You may be based in schools, specialist provisions, or residential care settings, providing essential day-to-day support and making a real difference in young people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and support tailored to individual needs
Assist with personal care where required (e.g. hygiene, feeding, mobility)
Support learning and development in classroom or care settings
Promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing
Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young adults
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and care teams
Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Experience:
Experience working with children or young people (in care, education, or similar settings) is desirable
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to support individuals with a range of needs, including SEND
Relevant qualifications in care, childcare, or education (preferred but not essential)
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
