Stock Condition Surveyor (x3) Contract: Initial 6 months Rate: £350–£385 per day (inclusive) + expenses IR35: Inside IR35 Start: ASAP (interviews next week) We are working with a housing organisation seeking three experienced Stock Condition Surveyors to support a significant stock condition programme across multiple regions. Locations West (London & Hertfordshire) East London / Outer East London The Role You will carry out internal and external stock condition surveys across occupied properties, using a mobile device to capture data in line with agreed survey methodologies. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting surveys in line with the Decent Homes Standard • Completing HHSRS assessments (dwellings only) • Identifying and reporting hazards, including damp and mould, with supporting photographs • Managing and prioritising your own survey diary to meet programme targets • Covering a wide geographical area, including travel to outlier locations where required • Following no-access procedures accurately • Ensuring health and safety is a key consideration at all times Requirements Essential: • Experience carrying out stock condition surveys within occupied properties • Strong knowledge of the Decent Homes Standard and HHSRS • Experience diagnosing building faults and recommending remedial works • Competent with mobile survey applications and electronic devices • Strong communication skills when engaging with residents • Full driving licence, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel Additional Information • Basic DBS required • Mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile • Expenses paid where applicable Interviews are taking place next week, with a view to starting shortly after, so availability is key.
