Counterbalance Driver

Counterbalance Driver Night Shift Bury St Edmunds £18.00 per hour    We are currently recruiting for a experienced Counterbalance Driver to join a well established and busy warehousing team based in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will be confident working as part of a team to ensure the smooth movement of goods throughout the warehouse and yard areas.   Working hours would be Sunday to Thursday 22:00-0600   Key Responsibilities: Safely operate forklifts to move stock, around the warehouse area, on/off the racking  Load and unload goods from lorries in a safe and efficient manner  Ensure proper stacking and storage of goods to prevent damage or contamination Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working conditions Adhere to all health and safety regulations Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels Assist with general warehouse duties, such as packing, labelling, and cleaning, as required    Qualifications and Skills: Valid forklift operator certification/license - Counterbalance Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
