English Teacher

*About the Role*

Field Gate School is growing, and we are excited to be expanding our teaching team in Doncaster. We are looking for an *experienced English Teacher* who is passionate about supporting children and young people aged *6–18*.

You will be joining a dedicated and experienced team within a school culture where children are *respected, listened to, and actively involved* in their learning journey. Our young people deserve stability, empathy, and educators who believe in them.

As a Teacher with Five Rivers Child Care, each day will be varied, rewarding, and meaningful. You will deliver learning through a *flexible teaching model*, using *bespoke therapeutic and educational frameworks* tailored to each individual student. Lessons may take place in the classroom or within the community to support children unable to attend regular school settings.

We follow a *Trauma-Informed Practice Model*, and our schools have proudly achieved the *Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Gold Award*—reflecting our commitment to nurturing, supportive education.

*Requirements*

* NQTS or QTS registration * Minimum 2 years’ teaching experience (preferred) * Valid UK driving licence (for community-based teaching) * Right to Work in the UK * Strong written and IT skills * Ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and external agencies * A genuine passion for working within specialist or trauma-informed education
