Our client is looking for a commercially focused Senior Data Centre Solutions Architect to join their Solutions team. This is a customer-facing pre-sales position focused on designing, positioning and presenting Data Centre solutions across enterprise customers, combining technical architecture, customer engagement and solution-selling to design and win complex infrastructure opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions
• Design and present end-to-end Data Centre solutions
• Work closely with sales teams to support customer opportunities
• Provide technical leadership throughout the pre-sales lifecycle
• Produce high-quality solution designs, proposals and presentations
• Act as the trusted technical advisor for customers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic technology vendors
• Support bid responses, commercial discussions and customer presentations
• Stay current with market trends and vendor technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect or technical consulting role
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience designing and selling enterprise infrastructure solutions
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Data Centre technologies, including Nexus, UCS, data centre networking and a high-level understanding of Cisco ACI
• Experience with Dell Data Centre platforms and solutions, including Dell PowerEdge and the wider Dell Data Centre portfolio
• Experience with Pure Storage solutions, including FlashArray and FlashBlade
• Sound understanding of virtualisation technologies, enterprise networking, hybrid cloud environments and Data Centre modernisation initiatives
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure transformation projects
• Comfortable running customer workshops, presenting solutions to decision makers, engaging with Cisco, Dell and Pure Storage, and supporting sales teams to win new business
