Mobile Cleaner

BBS Recruitment is an independent recruitment agency for the transport and logistics sector, supplying to a variety of clients across London, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas. We also recruit for Social Care and Public Sector roles. We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Cleaner for our client based in Croydon. Responsibilities for the Mobile Cleaner: * Provide flexible cleaning cover across multiple estates and sites, including annual leave and sickness cover. * Carry out general communal cleaning, including dusting, mopping and vacuuming. * Complete both high-level and low-level cleaning tasks. * Carry out deep cleaning of communal areas when required. * Clean bin stores, communal areas and other estate facilities. * Operate cleaning machinery and equipment, including buffers and carpet-cleaning machines. * Respond to additional cleaning requirements across assigned sites. * Complete assigned Risk Hub jobs and ensure tasks are correctly closed once completed. * Take before-and-after photographs where required as evidence of completed work. * Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across all assigned sites. * Follow all health and safety procedures and safe working practices. * Ensure cleaning equipment, machinery and chemicals are used safely and correctly. * Work independently while maintaining good communication with colleagues and management. * Travel between different estates and sites throughout the working day. Requirements for the Mobile Cleaner: * Full valid UK driving licence is essential. * Must have a Standard DBS * Must be able and willing to drive a company van. * Previous cleaning experience, preferably in communal, estate, housing or similar environments. * Experience using cleaning machinery and equipment, such as buffers and carpet-cleaning machines, is desirable. * Good understanding of health and safety and safe working practices. * Reliable, flexible and willing to cover different sites at short notice. * Comfortable working independently and managing tasks across multiple locations. * Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. * Physically able to carry out cleaning duties, including high-level and low-level cleaning. * Good time management and organisational skills. * Professional and presentable approach when working across residential estates and communal areas. Working Hours: 35/week
