Learning Support Assistant

We have opportunities for day-to-day supply work , with exciting potential for long-term positions from September .

The Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

Help create a positive, safe and nurturing learning environment.

Support children with additional learning needs, including SEND where required.

Encourage pupils' independence, confidence and social development.

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

We Are Looking For Someone Who: Has experience working with children in a school, or similar setting (desirable but not essential).

Is patient, caring and adaptable.

Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting children's learning.

Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
