About the role

We are working exclusively with a prominent company in the nuclear sector, who is currently seeking a Risk Manager for a contract position. This role involves interacting with senior stakeholders and shaping the organisation's approach to risk tools and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Implementing and managing risk tools within the organisation Shaping and maintaining risk reporting processes Collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance risk management strategies Supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk management tools Providing comprehensive risk assessments and monitoring risk exposure Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations Offering expert guidance on risk-related matters Contributing to continuous improvement of risk practices within the nuclear industry Job Requirements: Experience in risk and compliance management Hands-on experience using PRA or a comparable risk management tool/platform Proven capability in supporting the down-selection and adoption of new risk tools Ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Understanding of the nuclear industry and its specific risk challenges Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in risk management About the Contract: 6-month initial contract Potential for extension based on project needs and performance If you are a proactive Risk Manager with the required skills and experience, we would be delighted to hear from you
