A specialist SEND provision in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking for a Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs and communication difficulties.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience working directly with children who require additional support while learning from experienced teachers, SENCOs and specialist staff.
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: £92.63 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Helping children regulate emotions and behaviour
* Supporting learning activities and interventions
* Building positive and trusting relationships
* Encouraging confidence and independence
* Working alongside teachers and support staff
