M&E Shift Engineer – Bath – £47,500 (Rising to £50,000) 📍 Location: Bath 💷 Salary: £47,500 per annum (rising to £50,000 after successful completion of probation) 🕒 Hours: Continental shift pattern – 12-hour shifts Are you looking for a role in a stable, recession-resistant sector? Due to continued expansion at a key site, we’re recruiting M&E Shift Engineers (Electrical, Mechanical, or Air Conditioning backgrounds) to join a leading facilities management provider for a Critical Environment near Bath.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for investing in its people, offering structured career progression, and promoting from within. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks Respond to emergency callouts and fault situations Complete logbooks, RAMS, and relevant documentation Attend client meetings and provide technical support Conduct emergency lighting testing Perform electrical works including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, and BMS Maintain and operate Building Management Systems (BMS) Work on air conditioning systems including DX, chilled water, and adiabatic AHUs Maintain generators, controls, and UPS systems Work on AC/DC systems including single and three-phase motors Support HV/LV systems maintenance Carry out basic building fabric tasks (e.g., toilets, drainage, tiling, sinks)Requirements: Trade qualified with ideally 3+ years’ experience in building services City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical (or equivalent) Strong understanding of building services systems (AHU, FCU, UPS, generators, LV systems) Proven fault-finding ability across mechanical and/or electrical systems Excellent communication skills with strong client-facing experiencePackage & Benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Pension scheme Free on-site parking Ongoing training and development Supportive and people-focused culture Clear career progression pathways Overtime opportunities Private healthcareThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation offering long-term career development within a high-performance environment
