Sales Specialist – Flooring (Maternity Cover)

Sales Specialist Location: Glasgow (On-Site) About the Business Our client, a well-established, specialist flooring company based in Glasgow are recruiting for a Sales Specialist. This is a maternity cover role however, it is highly likely to become a permanent role. The business has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality LVT, wood, carpet and laminate flooring solutions to residential customers. They are known for their exceptional customer service, expert product knowledge and hands-on approach, they are a growing and ambitious company with a loyal client base and strong local presence. You will be covering a high-performing team member, so we are looking for someone who can step in, make an impact and continue delivering the excellent service their customers expect and are accustomed to. The Role As a Sales Specialist, you will be the face of the business, guiding customers through their flooring journey from initial enquiry to installation. You will: * Engage with customers in-store, over the phone and via email to understand their needs * Provide expert advice on LVT, wood, carpet and laminate flooring solutions * Conduct home visits to measure spaces and provide tailored recommendations * Manage the full sales process, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience * Build strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals * Support with daily store operations, including assisting with deliveries when required * Work towards and exceed sales targets to maximise performance bonus This is an opportunity to join a successful, supportive team where your contribution will be highly valued from day one.
