Accountant

Accountant - Wilmslow - Permanent - up to £50,000 DOE Our client are a reputable and trusted provider in their field. You will be joining a team of 6, responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role will see you working either full time or 4 days a week. * Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients * Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting * Completing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations * Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns * Liaising with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries * Maintaining accurate financial records and using accounting software * Supporting senior team members on audits * Managing a high volume of client accounts, building strong relationships About you: * Ideally part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or qualified by experience) * Previous experience within an accountancy practice is preferred * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * Good communication skills and ability to build client relationships * Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a growing business.
