Parts Advisor Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE Hours: 40h week (4 DAY WEEK ONLY) Location: Reading We are currently seeking an experienced Parts Advisor/ Parts Person / Parts Co-ordinator to join a busy and growing automotive bodyshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Parts Advisor who is looking to develop their career, with clear progression available into a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) role. As a Parts Advisor/ Parts Person / Parts Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting workshop operations by ensuring accurate parts supply, efficient stock management, and smooth day-to-day coordination within the department. This role is ideally suited to a Parts Advisor with strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities of Parts Advisor/ Parts Person / Parts Co-ordinator: Managing the ordering, receiving, and allocation of vehicle parts and accessories Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts Processing invoices, purchase orders, and returns Supporting workshop technicians with parts availability and queries Carrying out general administrative duties, including data entry and documentation management Monitoring stock levels and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency Assisting with internal reporting and departmental organisation Skills & Experience Required for Parts Advisor/ Parts Person / Parts Co-ordinator: Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar parts coordination role Knowledge of systems such as Kerridge, Autoflow, Partslink, or similar Strong administrative and organisational abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload effectively This role offers a clear pathway for a Parts Advisor/ Parts Person / Parts Co-ordinator looking to step into a more technical position, with training and development provided to support progression into a VDA role.
