You will be working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor delivering a high-profile construction project in Ardrossan. The contractor has a strong pipeline of work across Scotland and is known for maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and delivery.
Your new role
As a Freelance Site Engineer, you will play a key role on a live project, reporting directly to the site management team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Accurate setting out for structural and associated works
• Carrying out quality checks and inspections to ensure works meet specification
• Supervising and coordinating steel frame works
• Liaising with subcontractors and site management
• Ensuring all works are delivered safely and in line with programme requirements
• This role offers an immediate start for the right candidate.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on main contractor projects
• Strong background in setting out and quality assurance
• Experience with steel frame construction
• Ability to work independently and manage engineering tasks on site
• Valid CSCS card (and relevant qualifications)
• Availability to start immediately or at short notice
