Press Operator

We are currently hiring Press Operatives to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment, operating saws and break out laser cut parts. It is expected that your knowledge, competency, speed and accuracy will improve over time. Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm Rate: £12.71 Type: Permanent Location: Stourport on Severn, DY13 Key Responsibilities: * Delivering high-quality finishes in a workshop environment while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards. * Manufacturing or assembling components in accordance with drawings or customers’ requirements. * Operate saws. * Break out laser cut parts. * Linishing. * Inspect products, evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications. * Any other ad hoc duties as required Requirements: * Reliability and good communication skills. * Able to use hand tools. * Ability to safely and effectively operate press brake controls, or previous experience in a similar environment. * Ability to read and understand drawings. * Basic computer skills. * Ideally candidates will have their own means of transport to allow for occasional movement between sites, as the business needs.
