CP33425 PDI Fitter (Workshop Mobile Role) Bradford £35,000 - £49,000 (Up to £21/hr DOE) Mon-Fri | 07:00-17:00 Tired of jumping between short-term jobs or being stuck with no progression? We're looking for a PDI Fitter / Plant Mechanic to join a busy, well-established team in Bradford. This is a proper, long-term role where your workshop experience will actually be put to good use, not wasted. You'll be working mainly in the workshop, with occasional mobile support when needed, inspecting, servicing, and repairing a wide range of plant machinery. What you'll be doing Carrying out PDI inspections, servicing and repairs on plant equipment Working primarily in a fast-paced workshop environment Occasional mobile breakdown and repair work Servicing machinery to manufacturer standards Fault finding and carrying out effective, first-time fixes Working independently and as part of a skilled engineering team Maintaining high safety and quality standards at all times What's in it for you £35,000 - £49,000 salary (up to £21/hr depending on experience) Monday to Friday only (07:00-17:00) - your weekends stay yours Long-term, stable position in a growing business Varied workload across multiple types of plant machinery Supportive workshop environment with experienced engineers Genuine opportunity to develop and progress What we need from you Must have experience working in a workshop environment (ESSENTIAL) Background in plant maintenance / plant fitting / HGV or heavy equipment repair NVQ Level 2 Plant Maintenance (or equivalent experience) Own tools required Strong fault-finding and repair skills Reliable, honest, and self-motivated Willing to learn and take on new challenges Able to work independently and as part of a team Why this role?
