Due to continued growth T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our Client on a temporary to permanent basis in Shepshed.

Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Operative Job Details & Benefits;
£12.96 per hour
Monday Friday 7:30am 4:30pm

Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Operative Role & Responsibilities include;
Ensure products are delivered and stored safely to sites throughout the UK including
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes accurately in a fuel-efficient manner.
Follow routes and time schedule to optimise driving time.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
Collect payments
Follow DOT regulations, safety standards and ensure quality service standards comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Inspect products for defects and damages and report any discrepancies
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment

Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Operative Person Specification;
Experience as a Multi Drop Delivery Driver, preferably with knowledge of the road systems in the West Midlands and East Midlands.
Experience in driving 3.5t long wheel base vehicle xwzovoh
Full valid drivers license with no more than 3 points and held for a minimum of 24 months
Excellent organizationaland time management skills
Experience as a warehouse worker and familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to operate forklift, hand truck and other warehouse equipment
Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
Team player with organisational skills
Ability to lift or move heavy products
