Skilled Groundworkers Required - Stoke-on-Trent We are currently seeking 2 Skilled Groundworkers for a civil engineering project in Stoke-on-Trent (ST1), with an immediate start available. Positions Available 1 x Skilled Groundworker with CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket 1 x Skilled Groundworker with Confined Space Certification Please note, these are hands-on groundworker roles and operatives will not be working solely on plant. Candidates must be experienced in all aspects of civil groundwork. Duties Include Drainage installation Excavation and trenching works Ducting, kerbing, and concreting Loading and unloading materials General groundworks and civil engineering tasks Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment Working from RAMS and site permits Attending site briefings and toolbox talks Reporting hazards and near misses Requirements Valid CSCS Card Proven experience in civil engineering and groundworks For the Dumper role: Valid CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket For the Confined Space role: Valid Confined Space Certification Confined Space operative must be experienced with pointing up shafts and using a trowel Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures Desirable SSSTS or SMSTS NRSWA Environmental Awareness Training Job Details Location: Stoke-on-Trent Start Date: 10th August 2026 Duration: Until 4th September 2026 Hours: 45 hours per week Rate: £200 per day Employment Type: Freelance / Agency Please apply with an up-to-date CV and call Louis on (phone number removed)
