M&E Project Manager – Design & Build Consultancy (Cheshire) £45,000 – £60,000 Salary (DOE) + Benefits Package (Up to £65K Total) 37.5 Hours per week | Hybrid Working (2 Days WFH) Permanent Overview of the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing Design & Build Building Services consultancy for an experienced M&E Project Manager. This role will see you delivering mechanical and electrical projects across public sector, commercial, and residential environments, with a strong focus on retrofit and decarbonisation schemes. You will take full responsibility for project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, managing multiple schemes simultaneously. Responsibilities Deliver M&E projects typically ranging from £25k–£1m Manage projects from feasibility through to handover Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and forecasts Procure and manage M&E contractors and specialist suppliers Administer contracts including valuations, variations, and final accounts Coordinate design information and ensure buildability Lead site meetings and manage stakeholder relationships Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, CDM, and H&S Monitor quality, commissioning, and project close-out documentation Produce progress, cost, and risk reportsRequirements Proven experience delivering M&E building services projects Experience managing projects or packages between £25k–£1m Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Experience working in live or occupied environments Knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM, and H&S legislation Commercial awareness across cost control and contract management Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Full UK driving licenceDesirable: Building Services or M&E background Design & Build experience Knowledge of low-carbon / renewable technologies Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP)What’s on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Hybrid working arrangement Strong pipeline of secured work Clear progression within a growing consultancy Exposure to sustainability and decarbonisation projectsContact: James Glover at Service Care Solutions on (phone number removed) or via email at (url removed)
