Heavy Plant Fitter 📍 Grantham 💰 £40,000 - £45,000 🕒 Days: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 6:00pm A well-established and growing quarrying and materials business is seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join their on-site maintenance team. This is a days-based role offering stability, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to work with a varied fleet of heavy plant machinery. 🛠️ The Role As a Heavy Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for: Carrying out maintenance and repairs on heavy plant equipment Diagnosing faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel systems Ensuring machinery is operating safely and efficiently Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Responding to breakdowns to minimise downtime ✅ What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Plant Fitter / Heavy Plant Engineer Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and mechanical systems Experience working within quarrying, construction, or heavy industry (preferred) Ability to work independently and as part of a team 💼 What's On Offer Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Stable, days-based role with no shifts Overtime available - Saturdays (rare): 6:30am - 12:00pm paid at 1.25x Long-term opportunity with a reputable businessIf you're a skilled Heavy Plant Fitter looking for a secure, well-paid role in a straightforward days position, apply today for immediate consideration
