About the role

The Interim Project Manager will oversee and manage construction and infrastructure projects within the transport industry. Client Details A transport organisation operating in the Rail Industry. Description The interim Project Manager is an exciting role with potential for permanency. The key elements of the role are: Establish a project plan to review various structures including line, embankments and bridges along a railway line, working with external organisations to implement improvement plans. Creation of a full monitoring and maintenance plan including actions, that will guide the organisation on likely future costs and service interruptions (if relevant) over the next 5 to 10 years. Work with the broader engineering teams to implement the necessary processes to ensure safe and productive working and appropriate reporting. Perform a review of process and performance and create a fit-for-purpose organisation structure and training needs analysis to enable to organisation to work effectively.Profile The interim Project Manager will be an experienced engineer, will have worked in the rail industry previously, and have exceptional project management skills. You will be available on short notice and be able to commit to the full term of the contract, with a site base in North Yorkshire. Job Offer A rate of c£320/day PAYE or c£375/day LTD Co 6 month contract with potential for permanent Immediate start based on site in North Yorkshire Opportunity to work as part of a team with a genuine passion for the rail industry
