Sales Assistant - Leicester (LE4 9LJ) - Plumb Centre

As a Sales Assistant based ina brand new branch we are opening in Leicester youll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations

• Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude

• Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending

• Assisting with general warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets

• Ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch

• Providing cover driving a 3.5T van delivering plumbing and heating supplies to our customers in the local area

This is a full time permanent role working xwzovoh 40 hours per week Monday - Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm and Saturdays on a rota basis 8.00am - 12.00pm.

And heres what wed like you to have:

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Prior industry experience would be advantageous

• Previous Face to Face customer service is essential

• Prior warehouse experience would be ideal

• Willingness to work as a part of a team and to take on a diverse role

• Proactive and eager to learn, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic
