Experience in building disease-relevant in vitro models, particularly within autoimmune or inflammatory disease areas, would be highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and optimise organoid-based disease models aligned to immunology and inflammation research e.g. liver, lung, gut
* Develop and execute in vitro assays using advanced single- and multi-organ-on-chip platforms
* Perform and interpret a range of analytical techniques, including FACS, MSD, ELISA and qPCR
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across assay development and model systems
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data to project timelines
* Prepare protocols, SOPs and technical documentation in line with internal standards
* Contribute to scientific reports and internal communications
* Present data clearly and effectively in team and project meetings
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant PhD plus at least 2 years’ experience in organoid culture and organ-on-chip model development
* Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience with FACS, MSD, ELISA and qPCR assays
* Proven ability to troubleshoot complex in vitro systems
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex scientific concepts clearly
This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of translational science within a collaborative and innovative environment, contributing directly to the development of next-generation therapeutics.
