Night Production Operative

Major Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading international automotive company with a significant presence in Shipley area (Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds). Our client operates a large factory employing over 700 people and continues to expand across the UK. We are seeking dedicated Manufacturing Operatives to join their dynamic team. Your Role as a Production Operative: As a Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in assembling essential components using power tools and detailed engineering drawings. You’ll also be involved in operating machinery as part of the production process. This is a physical, practical role ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in precision and quality. Shift Pattern * Monday to Thursday: 10:00pm – 6:00am * Friday: 4:00pm – 9:00pm * 37 hours per week * Early finish every Friday What You’ll Be Doing * Carrying out basic production duties * Building and assembling agricultural vehicle components * Operating machinery safely and efficiently * Using a variety of power tools * Reading and working from detailed technical drawings * Performing basic quality checks * Working efficiently in a fast-moving production setting * Collaborating with your team while also being confident working independently What We’re Looking For * Experience in production or manufacturing (preferred) * Confidence using power tools and machinery * Ability to read technical drawings * Comfortable with repetitive tasks and heavy lifting * Strong communication skills * Team player with a proactive attitude * Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and timekeeping. * Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
