Course Team Leaders – Travel and Tourism
Posts available:
- 1 x Full-time: 36 hours per week
- 1 x Part-time: 28.8 hours per week (4 days per week)
Salary: £40,548 to £47,939 per annum
(Pro rata for the part-time post)

The Role
We are seeking two Course Team Leaders to join our Travel and Tourism provision. You will play a key role in coordinating, developing and delivering an engaging and industry-relevant curriculum while teaching across a range of programmes.
Courses currently offered include:
- NCFE Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Travel & Tourism
- BTEC HNC and HND in International Travel & Tourism Management
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable professional who is passionate about education and the travel and tourism sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the development and delivery of the Travel and Tourism curriculum
- Teach across a range of Travel and Tourism programmes at different levels
- Lead on curriculum planning, review and continuous improvement
- Support, guide and, where appropriate, supervise members of the course team
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning and assessment
- Promote learner engagement, achievement and progression
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and qualification requirements
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who can demonstrate:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification or degree in a relevant subject area
- A Level 5 teaching qualification recognised within the Further Education sector, or a willingness to achieve this with the support of the College
- Successful teaching experience in Travel and Tourism xwzovoh
- Experience working within the travel and tourism industry
- Some experience of curriculum planning and development
- Some experience of leading or supervising others
