Early Years Practitioner/Senior Early Years Practitioner

Up to £33,400 per annum + £2,000 bonus

Great Starts Recruitment are currently recruiting for multiple Level 3 Nursery Practitioners / Senior Nursery Practitioners to join a high-quality Early Years nursery in South Woodford and Woodford Green.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years Educator, Nursery Nurse or Nursery Practitioner looking to progress within a supportive, well-established nursery group.

Key Information

• Full-time, permanent role
• 36 hours over 4 days or 45 hours over 5 days
• Shifts between 8am–6pm
• Salary up to £33,400 per year
• Performance bonus up to £2,000

Role Overview

As a Nursery Nurse / Early Years Educator, you will deliver high-quality childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will support children’s learning, development and well-being while ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with EYFS
• Support children’s development against Early Learning Goals
• Act as a Key Person, completing observations and assessments
• Monitor progress and support individual learning needs
• Support children with SEN, EAL and additional needs
• Build strong parent partnerships and communicate effectively
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment
• Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
• Work as part of a team to deliver outstanding Early Years practice

Requirements

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification (essential)
• Minimum 1 year nursery or Early Years experience
• Strong knowledge of EYFS framework
• Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
• Paediatric First Aid (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills
• Must live locally or be able to travel to Woodford/South Woodford
• No sponsorship available
