School Administrator – Primary School

Short-term & Long-term Opportunities | Start Dates Available Now or September 2026

Reed Education is currently recruiting experienced School Administrators to work across a range of primary schools in Doncaster. We have immediate vacancies as well as roles starting in September 2026, with both short-term and long-term assignments available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled school administrators looking for flexible work or a longer-term placement within a supportive school environment.

The Role

As a School Administrator, you will play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school, supporting staff, pupils, and parents.

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Front-of-house reception duties
• Handling attendance, admissions, and pupil records
• Managing telephone calls, emails, and general correspondence
• Supporting staff with administrative tasks
• Using school management systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor, Scholar Pack)

Hours & Pay

• Typical hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
• Pay: From £14.50 per hour, depending on experience and role

Essential Requirements

• Previous school administration experience (essential)
• Experience working within a primary school setting preferred
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
