Due to recently winning new contracts, our client is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer in the North West of England. You will be conducting pre-planned compliance duties, including: TMV servicing, CWST cleans/disinfections and showerhead descales. We are seeking someone who is able to work independently on site, producing their own service reports and adhering to personal deadlines. The role is within a highly respected Water Hygiene / Water Treatment specialist, who can offer great training, competitive salaries and benefits packages. Consideration will be given to candidates from the following locations: Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Hyde, Stockport, Eccles, Altrincham, Warrington, Leigh, Wigan, Ashton-in-Makerfield, St Helens, Prescot, Runcorn, Frodsham, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Wigan, Chorley, Blackburn, Southport, Formby, Burnley, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Huddersfield, Halifax, Leeds, Bradford.
Experience / Qualifications: -Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer -It would be advantageous to hold industry-related training/qualifications -Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines -Organised and good time-keeping skills -Good literacy and numeracy skills -Proficient in using IT software
The Role: -CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections -TMV servicing and failsafe checks -Showerhead descales -Calorifier inspections -Routine flushing on little used outlets -Mains injections on hot and cold water systems -Water sampling and temperature monitoring -Completing regular service reports
