Prospero Teaching are seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a welcoming primary school in Bury St Edmunds starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their career in a supportive environment, with access to mentorship and professional development.
They are looking for a passionate teacher with strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
CONTRACT DETAILS Location - Bury St Edmunds Position - ECT Primary Teacher Type of work - Class teaching Start date - September Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing / Long-term Contract type - Temporary (potential to become permanent) Full time/part-time - Full time Minimum rate of pay - From £125 per day Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Recent experience in a UK primary school (placements accepted for ECTs) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child-related references
