Job Title: English Teacher

Salary: £150 - £250 per day

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic English Teacher to join our team on a temporary, full-time basis. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver stimulating English lessons tailored to students’ needs
• Assess and monitor students’ progress regularly
• Provide constructive feedback to support learner development
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and teaching practises

Qualifications and Education

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline
• Postgraduate qualification in Education (preferred)

Experience

• Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Familiarity with integrating technology into classroom teaching (preferred)

Knowledge and Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of the English curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet varied student needs
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
