Year 1 Teacher Job – Long-Term Opportunity | Southport

Desian Education are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 teacher for a welcoming primary school in Southport. This is a full-time, long-term job, starting Monday 20th April, with the opportunity to continue for the right teacher.

If you’re a KS1 specialist who enjoys supporting children through the crucial transition from EYFS to Year 1, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role:

Full responsibility for a Year 1 class – Planning, teaching, and assessing in line with the national curriculum. Maintaining a positive, welcoming, and well-managed classroom. Working collaboratively with support staff and school leadership

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Full Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)

Experience in Year 1 or KS1 (EYFS transition experience welcomed)

Confident delivering the Year 1 curriculum

Positive, nurturing classroom presence

Committed, reliable, and keen to build strong relationships

Pay:

M1 – M6:£120 – £232 per day, depending on experience
