Estates Support Manager, Leading Birmingham College in Hall Green
Full time, Permanent Salary: £28,514 - £30,345 per annum
A leading Birmingham College are looking for a proactive and organised Estates Support Manager to help keep their busy campus in Hall Green running smoothly. This is a key role supporting the Assistant/Executive Director of Estates to ensure high-quality facilities, excellent customer service, and a safe, well-managed environment for staff, students, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Building Support Staff and support Security operations
- Oversee contractors, site audits, statutory checks and health & safety compliance
- Ensure the campus is clean, safe and well-resourced
- Manage job requests, room layouts, repairs and day-to-day Estates activity
- Support front-of-house, curriculum teams and campus communications
- Coordinate open days, enrolment, fire drills and cleaning schedules
- Monitor staffing levels, shifts, absence and team performance
About You:
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Experience managing Estates, Facilities, BSS or Security teams
- Confident working with H&S procedures, audits and compliance
- Customer-focused, adaptable and able to work flexibly when required
