Are you a seasoned mechanical design professional ready to lead exciting engineering projects? Join a leading manufacturer of bespoke machinery, where innovation meets precision.

As our Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll take ownership of designing special purpose equipment and conveyor systems from concept to production. You’ll guide a talented team, ensure compliance with safety standards, and bring complex mechanical systems to life.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the design of bespoke machinery and mechanical systems
• Producing detailed drawings to ISO standards
• Managing BOMs and specifying components (SAP experience ideal)
• Ensuring HSE compliance and supporting production/testing
• Mentoring fellow engineers and fostering collaboration

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in mechanical design (special purpose machinery)
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical & MS Office
• Strong detailing skills across machined, fabricated & sheet metal parts
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and leadership ability
