Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Processing Operator to join our manufacturing team at the Cotes Park site, working on a night shift pattern. This role involves operating production equipment, handling raw materials and ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor processing and mixing equipment in line with standard operating procedures
* Accurately weigh, measure and add raw materials to production batches
* Follow batch sheets and ensure product quality meets specification
* Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks
* Complete production records and documentation accurately
* Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements
* Maintain a clean, tidy and organised production environment (5S standards)
* Identify and report any process deviations, faults or safety concerns
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is preferred
* Experience within chemical, food or pharmaceutical production would be advantageous
* Basic understanding of production processes and safe working practices
* Good standard of numeracy and literacy
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures

* Reliable, punctual and able to work night shifts
* Good team working and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets
