HGV Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established general haulage business based in Alfreton. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (CAT C) Drivers to join the team. Location: Alfreton, DE55 Job Type: Ongoing work / Temp to Perm opportunities available Pay Rates: * £14.00 – £15.00 per hour * £25 Night Out Allowance (applicable to night out / tramper drivers) Shift Patterns & Start Times: * Start times available from 03:00 onwards * Day work available * Optional nights out / tramping (fully flexible and driver choice) * Full-time and part-time work available The Role: * General haulage deliveries * Operating curtainsider vehicles * Nationwide deliveries and collections * Minimal handball involved * Occasional use of pallet truck and tail lift * Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time Requirements: * Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (CAT C) licence * Minimum 1 year driving experience required * Maximum 6 points for minor offences only * Valid CPC and Digi Card * Good understanding of driver hours and regulations * Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work Benefits: * Ongoing, consistent work * Flexible working options to suit your availability * Opportunity for temp to perm placement * Supportive and well-organised transport operation To apply, please submit your CV or contact our team for more information
