About the Service
We are recruiting Support Workers for an Adults Learning Disabilities Supported Living service, supporting individuals who are transitioning from residential care into more independent living. This is a great opportunity to be part of a service focused on building independence, life skills, and confidence.
Shift Patterns
Day Shifts (37.5 hours per week):
*
Early: 7:00am – 2:30pm
*
Late: 2:30pm – 10:00pm
*
Long Day: 7:00am – 10:00pm
Staff must be flexible across the week to complete contracted hours.
Waking Night Shifts (36 hours per week):
*
10:00pm – 7:00am
*
4 shifts per week
Role Responsibilities
*
Supporting adults with learning disabilities to develop independent living skills
*
Providing personal care and prompting where required
*
Supporting daily routines and household tasks
*
Encouraging community access and social engagement
*
Maintaining accurate care records
*
Working as part of a team – this is not a 1:1 role, and you will always be on shift with other staff members
Requirements
*
3–6 months UK social care experience (minimum)
*
Comfortable supporting with personal care
*
Reliable, flexible, and person-centred approach
*
Right to work in the UK
*
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
