Associate / Associate Director – Economics & Impact

We’re working with a long-standing client on an Associate / Associate Director hire within its established Economics team.

Our client is an independent, multidisciplinary consultancy with a busy 12-person Economics team in London. They’re looking for someone who can complement the team across economics, social impact and strategic advisory.

Importantly, this isn’t a narrowly defined socioeconomics brief.

Relevant experience could include:

• Socioeconomic or economic impact assessment
• Business cases and economic strategy
• Social value and social impact
• Health or equalities impact assessment
• Employment and skills
• Regeneration and economic development
• Evaluation and strategic advisory

Current work includes employment and skills planning for major infrastructure projects, health impact assessment for renewable energy schemes as well as more traditional socioeconomic and economic impact work.

We’re open-minded on background but there should be a clear connection to development, regeneration, infrastructure or the built environment. You might come from a traditional economics or planning consultancy but we’re equally interested in people from economic advisory, impact, evaluation, social value or regeneration backgrounds who have applied their skills within these sectors.

At Associate / Associate Director level, you’ll lead projects and client relationships, develop junior colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the team.
