Site Agent – Water Sector Location: South / West Yorkshire Rate: £350–£425 per day CIS Type: Freelance / Ongoing Sector: Water / Utilities We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading regional contractor delivering a programme of works across South and West Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Agent with a strong background in the water/utilities sector looking for ongoing freelance work, with the potential for a long-term pipeline of projects. The Role As Site Agent, you’ll be responsible for the successful day-to-day delivery of works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities will include: * Managing day-to-day site operations and supervising site teams and subcontractors * Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with RAMS and company procedures * Monitoring programme, progress and productivity * Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors * Maintaining high standards of quality and environmental compliance * Liaising with the Project Manager, client and wider project team * Completing site documentation, inspections and reporting * Identifying and resolving issues proactively to keep works on programme About You We’re looking for a confident and experienced Site Agent with: * Previous experience working within the water/utilities sector * A proven track record delivering civil engineering or water-related projects * Strong site management and subcontractor coordination skills * Excellent understanding of health & safety and quality requirements * Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and RAMS * Strong communication and organisational skills * Relevant site management qualifications/tickets, ideally including SMSTS * A valid CSCS card What's on Offer? * £350–£425 per day CIS, depending on experience * Ongoing freelance work * Work with a leading regional contractor * Projects across South / West Yorkshire * Long-term opportunity with a strong pipeline of work * Immediate / prompt start available for the right candidate If you're an experienced Site Agent with water-sector experience and are interested in securing a long-term freelance opportunity, apply now or get in touch for more information
